Just interested in the science here, how does an Alcohol Breathalyzer measures blood alcohol? If someone drinks a single shot of whiskey then immediately does the Alcohol Breathalyzer, does that alcohol register via ‘fumes’?
Does the device somehow differentiate and only register the actual alcohol that’s absorbed into the blood?

Is there a difference with your blood alcohol level whether you take an Alcohol Breathalyzer test or from your blood? Like are there 2 different types of charts or something, or is the BAC from the breathalyzer the same as if they tested your blood?
