The Protocol keyring keychain alcohol breathalyzer unit was an on/off switch on the side for the LED light in the front. On the opposite side it has stop/start, minute and hour buttons for the timer on top. On top it the power button, you have to hold down when using the breathalyzer which are the slots at the very front.

General Protocol Keychain Breathalyzer Instructions

To use the breathalyzer you hold down the power button on top, the green LED with ready next to it will light up. Then the yellow and the red Leds will light up and when they go out the green LED so come back on. You are now ready to blow into the slots at the front, for a few seconds and then the LED (s) will light up with your reading. If your blood alcohol content is low green LED (less than .05%), yellow LED borderline (.05% to .08%), or red LED legally intoxicated (greater than .08%).
