Alcohol Breathalyzer Results are you at Fault!

Could you be the one that could hinder the Alcohol Breathalyzer results without knowing?

If you have had a drink or two, driving and are pulled over for a breath test, these are some of the things you should know that may alter the breathalyzer test.

Avoid using a mouth wash as most brands these days contain some form of alcohol and may increase your blood alcohol content for up to 20 minutes.

Don’t smoke as it has been shown it some test that certain chemicals in cigarettes can increase an alcohol detector reading.

If you haven’t eaten and have low blood sugar and could produce an increase on a digital alcohol tester.

If you have issues with acid reflux it may alter the result if this happen during the testing, as the stomach may not have digested it fully. The contents of your stomach gas will be much more concentrated then the air from your lungs.

If you think there is a possibility that you may be effected by some or all of the above, avoid driving at all.
